Here we go.
Why would someone with only 825 followers on Instagram start a Substack? Well, we’re about to find out. Realizing I spend a lot of money on Substack subscriptions and spend more time on this platform than any other social media, I thought why not. Let me elaborate. I often find myself perturbed when scrolling through influencer accounts knowing I could do what they do too (perhaps even better?). This sounds presumptuous and conceded, but I don’t care. To be honest though, I am more influenced (sometimes edified) with Substack content and compelled to create my own.
What one can expect from my Substack is kitchen and food inspiration of all kinds. Posts with links to my favorite cookware, kitchenware, specific brands of foods, condiments, spices, you get the picture. Full disclosure, I am not a recipe developer and promise not to add to the genre of ‘bad recipe’ clutter on the internet. However, I will be sharing some of my favorite recipes and cookbook authors.
For now, this account will be free, because who the hell do I think I am. But who knows, maybe eventually I can make a dollar or two from this content. Anyways, here we go.
